remember he wrote the first book at the age of 19... not sure how old the boy is now... so you cannot expect the maturity you find in jordan or terry... for a teen i think he does a splendid job

for s teenager, but his job is mediocre-what the english for mediocre?- (scusate ma non so come tradurlo in inglese, e scrivo in italiano) quello che succede è piuttosto scontato, e anche le sorprese sono prevedibili... anche se lui scrive bene, e le pagine volano via... dopotutto è una lettura piacevole...

capisco quello che vuoi dire... e una lettura che si puo predire (predict) non vi sono sorprese... ed il mondo in cui scrive non e uno dei piu belli... pero la storia e piacevole...

perche christopher scriver per young adults -- ragazzi della vostra eta e piu giovani -- prendo il tempo di leggerlo, perche aiuta a me a conoscere gli alti autori che scrivono for young adults...

si, è una lettura piacevole, ma non a livello di altri autori... serve soprattutto per introdurre nuovi lettori al fantasy...

Gabriel I agree with you.... in fact often in book shops'shelves there aren't names like Goodkind, Jordan, Hobb,Salvatore,Martin and so on with the masters of modern fantasy but there are certainly names as Paolini,Troisi etc..... and I think that they all write for young adults and they are a door to make people go near the true fantasy

OT: salvatore, dovrebbe esser raggruppato insieme a brooks , paolini e troisi, di certo non accanto al nome di jordan...

so, stai dicendo che terry brooks non scrive allo stesso livelo di jordan?

qui negli stati credo che brooks e piu lett di jordan

brooks punta più alle masse, jordan è per pochi estimatori, che non credono che il fantasy sia solo tolkien o brooks...

ho capito... in ogni caso non ho mai letto a brooks... e ogni volta che prendo uno dei suoi libri e leggo l assunto non mi ispira a leggere il libro...

e fai meglio a non leggerlo onestamente... cerca di leggere al più presto jordan, e quasi tutti gli altri ti sembreranno niente...

I enjoyed Salvatore's books why do you think they are at the level of Brooks instead at the livel of Jordan??? Don't fix yourself only with Jordan there are a lot of other writers as good as him

of course it is your opinion... and your opinion is valued... so can you please tell us why you believe salvatore is not at the level of jordan? i would like to know because i don't really read too much fantasy, i enjoy sci-fi much more, but would like to read a few good fantasy books...

Non mi trasmette le stesse emozioni che mi sa trasmettere jordan... comunque jordan è stato il primo amore, quello che non si scorda MAI! io ho iniziato con jordan, e gli altri non mi sembrano bravi quanto lui... nemmeno tolkien

il primo amore... si questo lo comprendo molto bene... terry e stato il primo fantasy che ho letto, e a dir la verita nessuno fin ora lo supera...

Good Singularity even if I started reading fantasy with Brook's book (shannara) I think that Terry Goodkind is incomparable but i don't dislike reading also other authors like Jordan,Tolkien,Salvatore and so on

unfortunately i enjoy reading sci-fi more so than fantasy... although i try to read many young adult fantasy writers...

with sci-fi what do you mean???? like george lucas????
