Richard's true powers

During the imprisonment in the Imperial Order's camp Richard showed us his true powers, with his mind he converted his team and inflamed the people's hearts. At the final match He started a revolution in the camp and unfortunately he didn't succed in killing Jagang with an arrow. IMO the true powers of Richard is also his particular gift but first of all is the way he can take people at his part and like them also succeded in taking me at his part. What are your opinions about this?????????????? Please let me know

it is the love of life that richard as that makes him reach out and be able to change people's out looks... in my opinion richard could accomplish all his goals even without his wizard powers... after all he rarely uses his war wizard powers... mostly he uses his thinking power... which has more value than anything else...

Like everytime I do agree with you, of course his gift help him in some occasions but it was only the mind of Richard that made him solve the problems he faced and to "convert" people from other way to think to his personal vision of life

hopefully some one will come along with a differnt point of view so we can have some debates...

I think that without his gift he wasn't chosen to do anything because if you think about it, well without his gift he couldn't remember the Book of counted shadows and without this knowledge Darken Rahl wouldn't worry about him, without is gift he couldn't become a real seeker. So as you see without his gift he couldn't do anything but having it and not using it very much he could do everything

i see that you know the wizard's firt rule very well... when did darken rahl realize that richard had memorized the book of counted shadows?

I think Darken knew from the beginning that Richard memorized the book, if not what a simple person did to gain him catched by the Father Rahl????? Now it's my turn to ask you something

First I'm improving my poor English, then as I said in a post IMO it's important to exchange opinions with the other, only in this way one can grow up inside of you and not only phisically

naturally you are right and the exchange of ideas is very important... and it's even better if the the people exchanging ideas are enjoying it...

Uhmmmm I think that a little before dying he has the doubt of who is Richard and Zedd told him that he was killed by his son. In the book the fantasy god (terry goodkind) wrote that when Darken understood who had killed him he smiled....

so how many times have you read the series?

Anyway I read the series about 10 times in Italian and just now I finish the third time in english but the first one I lost the count of the times i've read it after the 20 time
